Nelda Jo (Kelsheimer) Twigg

Nelda Jolene Twigg (70) of Clinton, Indiana passed away at Union Hospital in Terre Haute on November 14, 2021, at 5:00 PM.   Born May 7, 1951, in Clinton to Thomas Nelson Kelsheimer and Edith Irene Beard Kelsheimer.   She was a member of Sacred Heart church – Clinton and Sacred Heart Women’s Club.  She was married November 21, 1980, to John Stephen Twigg at St. Mary’s Church in Paris, Illinois.   Preceding her in death, her parents and three sisters; Mildred, Donna and Beverly.  She is survived by her husband John Stephen Twigg of Clinton, a brother, Eugene Kelsheimer of St. Bernice, Indiana.  Two brothers-in-law: Thomas Leonard (Theresa) Twigg and Patrick Joseph (Mary Margaret) Twigg both of Champaign, Illinois, one sister-in-law; Mary Martha (Kenneth) Lunston of Princeton, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.   A prayer service will be conducted to Giovanini Funeral Home on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 12:45 PM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church at 1:00 PM with Fr. Joby Puthussery officiating.  Internment will immediately follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.   Memorial contributions can be made to Sacred Heart Church in her memory.   Online condolences can be made at www.giovaninifuneralhome.com
