Enes Dowdy

Enes Dowdy (105) of Clinton, Indiana passed away January 7, 2024, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute.  Born October 8, 1918, to Louis White and Palma Proia White.  She previously worked at Faraco’s Jewelry Store in Clinton, Sands Level and Tool also in Clinton.  She married David A. Dowdy on May 16, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2015. Also preceding her in death are one brother Herman White and two sisters Valaria Kanizer and Valia Ramsey.

She is survived by one son Charles Dowdy and his wife Jennifer of Clinton, three daughters Pamela Kyle and her husband Robert of Clinton, Loretta Johnson and her husband Stephen of Clinton and Lori Powers and her husband Michael of Zolfo Springs, Florida.  Also surviving are grandchildren Jackson Dowdy, Jessica (Zachary) Crowder, Matthew (Jessica) Mullican and Emily Kyle.  Great grandchildren; Reece and Bailey Dowdy, Kirklee Mullican, Harrison Parker, Avery and Raegan Crowder and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, January 10th from 11:00 to 2:00 PM at Giovanini Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM with Brad Baysinger officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Wabash Valley or Parke-Vermillion Humane Society.  Online Condolences can be left at www.giovaninifuneralhome.com.
