Edward Allan Inman, age 73, passed away Tuesday morning, March 18, 2025, at his home
surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 15, 1951, to Edward F. Inman and Mary
Knezevich Inman.
Ed was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has
left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
We ask that you remember him for the way he lived life, and for the profound impact it had on
the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ed is proceeded in death by his father and mother, Edward F. Inman and Mary Knezevich Inman.
Ed is survived and missed by his loving wife Toni of 48 years; and his two children, Jacqueline
Inman and Ryan Inman of Clinton. Forever cherished and remembered by his three
grandchildren, Isabela Inman, Isla Lewis, and Rhett Inman. One brother; Rick (Nancy) Inman of
Clinton. He also had several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was born in and grew up in Clinton, Indiana. He met his wife Toni, and they married on May
15, 1976, and soon welcomed their daughter and son; Jacqueline and Ryan. Later on in life he
was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren. Some of his greatest joy came from his two
children, and his grandchildren. They created many memories as a family that will be cherished
forever.
Ed took pride in being a great husband and father. Ed and Toni created a beautiful life with each
other. They were happily married for 48 years and made many memories together. Ed and his
daughter Jacqueline bonded over the game of softball and their love for the outdoors. They spent
a lot of time in the yard together. Ed and his son Ryan bonded over sports, hunting, and fishing.
They both look up to their father, and know that he is proud of them both.
He took an active role in the lives of his grandchildren by never missing a practice or game of
Isabela’s, dancing and laughing around the house with Isla, and being able to meet his first
grandson, Rhett at the hospital. He always shared his advice and wisdom to them, and they will
never forget it.
He loved to spend his afternoons in his yard and garden. He would spend his evenings with his
bike group, where he would ride 30 miles twice a week. He also spent his evenings watching
softball games. He had a profound love for the game and made a lot of memories. Ed loved to
fish, hunt, and all things outdoors.
Ed always wanted to give back to the community. He volunteered for the Saint Mary’s food
pantry. He was also a member of the National Road Bicycle Club and the Rangeline
Conservation Club. After retirement he also worked part time for the city of Clinton, to fill his
spare time.
Ed worked at Eli Lilly for 35 years, where he made many lifelong friends.
His legacy will carry on forever reminding us to always be humble and kind.
