Dorothy Lindsey

Dorothy M. Lindsey (90) of Clinton passed away, September 13, 2024, at 9:05 AM in Clinton Gardens. Born August 8, 1934, in Clinton, Indiana to Constantino Berto and Mary Berto Jackson.

She retired from Columbia Records in 1996. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s Club. 

She married David L. Lindsey on November 20, 1954. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David, (May 12, 2000), one daughter Tammy Laloche (May 31, 2019) and one grandson Joshua Rozina (July 10, 2023). She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Berto Hyde and Lucy Berto Davis.

Dorothy is survived by one daughter; Kathy (Robert) Walls of Clinton, and one son; David Lindsey of Crawfordsville. Three grandchildren; Brant (Heidi) Walls, Brande (Mike) Ritchey and David L. Lindsey. Two great grandchildren; Skyler Walls and Brayden (Carly) Walls. One great grandson; Noah Walls. Her sister-in-law; Mary Lindsey of Clinton and one nephew; Rick Lindsey of Clinton.

Visitation for Dorothy will be at Giovanini Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church at 12:15 PM, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with Fr. Joby Puthussery officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton. Memorial contributions can be made to Sacred Heart Church.
