Claude Dale Jones

Claude Dale Jones, 80, of Clinton, Indiana passed away October 1, 2021, at Gibson Hospice Center, Terre Haute, Indiana at 9:53 AM.  Born, February 4, 1941, in Mecca Indiana to Alonzo and Carolyn (Moore) Jones.   He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam from 1962 to 1967. He worked as a painter for Alcan and Futurex. He married Anita Davitto on January 13, 1968.  A member of Mecca Christian Church, Mecca Arabs, Thousand Trails and he coached Little League and Pony League Baseball.  Claude was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anita Jones (October 24, 2005).  A brother, Dave Jones and his sister, Colleen Kelsheimer, and his best friend, Doug Graham.  He is survived by his two daughters, Carrie (Cory) Kent of Clinton, Debra (Ross) Badofsky of McHenry, Illinois.  Two sons, John (Crystal) Jones of Clinton and Bob Jones.  He was a grandfather to five grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Nodley, Bradley (Josie), Heather (Nathaniel), Brandon Wright, and Grace Ware.  A proud great grandfather to Braelyn, Rogue, Calum, Haslen and Cozi. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 8, 2021, at Giovanini Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Guoli officiating.  Visitation will be at Giovanini Funeral Home  from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM Friday. Internment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mecca Christian Church.   Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
